Wes Harry is a very experienced HRM practitioner with expertise in the
banking, IT, airline, and oil sectors in the GCC, East Asia and the UK.
Currently acting as an adviser to the Brunei Investment Agency
(Brunei’s sovereign wealth fund), Wes was HRM Adviser to the Board and
top management of the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (2002-2005), headed
HRM for the Al Rajhi Investment and Banking Corporation, Saudi Arabia
(2000 – 2002) and has held senior HRM positions in Emirates Bank
(International), Emirates Airlines and Royal Brunei Airlines. As a
consultant, he has worked with Booz Allen and Hamilton to privatise
Saudi Telecoms. Wes has a Ph.D. from the Graduate School of Business,
University of Strathclyde, is an Honorary Visiting Fellow at the Cass
Business School, City University, and is on the research review panel
for the King Fahd University of Petroleum and Mines, Saudi Arabia. He
is a fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, the Royal Asiatic Society,
and the Royal Geographical Society.
