Professor William Scott-Jackson

After a successful career in computing, becoming Director Engineering for ICL Applied Systems, William started his first company in 1989. This specialised resourcing and executive search company developed into a well respected strategic management consultancy before being sold in 2000. Since then William has created Oxford Strategic Consulting to provide world-class practical consulting services to major international organisations.
William has also pursued his academic career, gaining a doctorate from Oxford Brookes University in the psychology of change. He has subsequently written on all aspects of management psychology and people in business and is a regular presenter at major international conferences.

William is currently Non-Executive Chairman of bio-medical company, Non-Executive Director of several Oxford spin-outs and Chairman of three consulting companies. He has acted as an advisor and consultant to the UAE Government and major Middle Eastern and European companies. He has also advised on several major mergers in the Insurance/Broker sector.
Professor Scott-Jackson is a Visiting Fellow at Oxford University (Skope) and Director of the Centre for Applied HR Research at Oxford Brookes University Business School (www.cahrr.org), which carries out practitioner oriented research into the impact of HR in business.
