Andrew Porteous BA (Hons) MB
Andrew began his career in Marketing and Commercial Management before making the switch to HR development and change following an MBA at Henley Management College. As Head of Organisational and People Development for Kvaerner, he led a Europe wide function providing a service to over 15,000 staff whilst supporting the radical change of the HR function to make it business aligned and influential. Andrew also began to operate his function as a business, provided coaching and team development services to Kvaerner clients across the globe including Europe, the USA and China. Andrew has spent the last 14 years working in senior positions for a number of talent and change consultancies including The Empower Group and Capital Consulting. His clients have come from many industries and included BP, Scottish Power, EMI and Microsoft. Assignments have included large change programmes, senior management coaching and tailored leadership development initiatives. In recent years Andrew has continued to work with a range of organisations in the UK and Europe and has extended his experience with a number of assignments in the Gulf. |
