The Outline Agenda for the National Talent Summit including Day 2 - The Masterclass are now available here at the National Talent 2010 Website |
Welcome to the second annual National Talent Summit, 2010 in Doha, Qatar
We are greatly honoured that His Excellency Sheikh Khalifa Bin Jassim Bin Mohammed Al Thani, Chairman of
the Qatar Chamber of Commerce has agreed to be the Patron of the National Talent Summit 2010 which will take
place on Sunday the 7th November 2010, kindly hosted by the Qatar Finance and Business Academy (QFBA) in the
QFC Tower 2, Al Wahda St, West Bay, Doha.
Our last summit explored the key challenges and opportunities facing GCC organizations and countries. The
top challenge was to build the talent to meet future strategic goals, in particular to build national talent so that Qataris and other GCC nationals can lead the growth and development of their countries and major industries.
The National Talent Summit 2010 will explore the latest strategic approaches to Nationalization
(Qatarization etc) together with advanced approaches to building strategic success through innovation
(presented by SRg, experts in Blue Ocean Strategy).
You will receive practical guidance to achieve your strategic goals — and ensure that national talent is
maximized. You will have the opportunity for a 'one-to-one' call/meeting with Professor William Scott-
Jackson before the event to ensure that we meet your needs and cover your key issues.
The Summit will be followed on the 8th November by a practical 'Implementation Masterclass' for those
responsible for implementing strategy and nationalisation, again hosted by QFBA, with a nominal cost of
$500. Please let us know if you would like any of your team, or yourself, to attend.
Across both days, all participants will receive a full copy of the findings and will have the opportunity to discuss their particular challenges with other GCC leaders and our industry experts.
Our thanks to our supporters, QCCI, Serco, Jobe International and QFBA for their support and active participation in this key event.
Look forward to seeing you there!
Best wishes,
Professor William Scott-Jackson,
